| Heartland Community College (HCC) has more then 4,800 students, | ||
| and is the youngest community college in Illinois. The main campus on | ||
| Raab Road in north Normal was completed in 2000. It features state-of- | ||
| the-art technology, a library, a pond, a quad, a bookstore, a cafe, and | ||
| numerous locations for students to study or work on school projects. | ||
| HCC provides quality, personalized instruction in traditional | ||
| classrooms as well as through many online courses. Over 60 career | ||
| and transfer programs are available and Heartland prepares students | ||
| for transfer to four-year colleges and universities. | ||

| The ivy-covered buildings located on the 79-acre campus of this | ||

| allows for an outstanding student/instructor ratio, translating into | ||
| a high-quality education in the areas of liberal arts, fine arts, and | ||
